Our major concerns are ultrafast dynamics, and the technology and device for investigating such phenomena. Currently our interests focus on the development of ultrafast electron microscopic technology and apparatus, including ultrafast electron diffraction and ultrafast electron microscopy, and their application, combined with transient spectroscopy, to studies of ultrafast processes, e.g., carrier excitation, phonon evolution, and phase transition, in novel light conversion materials.
